A Dungeons & Dragons® Therapeutic Intensive for Teens

A 14-week adventure in healing, courage, and connection for neurodivergent and sensitive teens.

At Aspen Counseling, We are launching The Wellness Crusade, a structured 14-week therapeutic intensive that blends individual IFS-informed therapy with a collaborative Dungeons & Dragons® (D&D) campaign.

This group is designed for adolescents who wrestle with anxiety, depression, social struggles, self-esteem issues, or the unique challenges of neurodivergence—and who might thrive more in a story-rich, imaginative world than in a traditional talk-therapy group.

🎯 Start Target: January 2026
📍 Location: TBA
👥 Group Size: 4–6 teens per group (up to 2 groups for the pilot)

Fee: Co-Pay plus Insurance, Private Pay $75 per session

Facilitator | Aspen Counseling

I’ve always believed that adolescents grow best when they feel safe enough to be fully themselves—quirks, creativity, imagination, and all. That’s why I love blending therapy with collaborative storytelling. Dungeons & Dragons gives teens a world where they can experiment with courage, leadership, connection, and emotional expression in ways that feel natural, fun, and empowering.

As a therapist, I work from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma-informed lens. I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent teens, kids who feel “different,” or anyone who struggles to find their place socially or emotionally. My goal is to meet each teen exactly where they are and help them explore who they can become—both in the game and in real life.

I bring structure, warmth, humor, and a lot of patience to this work. I care deeply about helping young people feel seen, understood, and confident in their inner world. Guiding them through this kind of therapeutic D&D adventure is one of my favorite ways to do that.
