Accessibility

We want this website to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, navigate by keyboard, or need larger text and strong contrast. The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What is in place

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
• Text and background colors meet or exceed the AA contrast ratio, including text over photographs.
• Images carry text alternatives, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• Headings are in order on every page, form fields have visible labels, and required fields are announced.
• The site works at phone widths and with text enlarged to 200 percent without sideways scrolling.
