Therapy for Men near Bend
Therapy for men near Bend, Oregon
Beneath the armor there's a life waiting for you.
Most men who come to Aspen Counseling did not come easily. They came because something finally cracked: a marriage strained past bearing, a numbness that stopped lifting, an anger that scared them, a success that turned out to be hollow. The office is in Sisters, a half-hour from Bend, and the work is built for men who want something real rather than another performance.
In individual sessions we use Internal Family Systems and somatic approaches to get underneath the anger, the drivenness, and the checked-out evenings. In group work something else becomes possible: being real with other men and being respected more for it, not less. Tim Moore, LPC, has done this work for 28 years, and his own version of it alongside.
About Men's Work at Aspen Counseling
Many men arrive at midlife successful on paper and quietly starving underneath — disconnected from feeling, from purpose, from the people they love. Men's work is individual and group-based therapy for men ready to trade performance for something real.
